Privacy Policy

What we collect. Account details you provide (name, e-mail, affiliation, ORCID iD, expertise
keywords), the content you submit, and technical records of sign-ins and file access.

Why we collect it. To operate peer review, to match reviewers to manuscripts, to publish
accepted work, and to maintain an auditable record of editorial decisions.

Who sees what. Reviewer identities are never disclosed to authors. On double-blind
submissions, author identities are withheld from reviewers. File downloads are logged and
reviewer copies are watermarked.

Third parties. Manuscript metadata is sent to Google Gemini where AI features are enabled
(see our AI Usage Policy), to Crossref for DOI registration on publication, and to a
similarity-checking service on submission.

Your rights. You can export everything we hold about you, and request deletion of your
account, from your profile page. Published articles cannot be deleted — the scholarly record
is permanent — but your account and unpublished submissions can.

Cookies. We set a session cookie so you can stay signed in, and store your theme and
language preference in your browser. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
